RICHLAND: PA-GERMANIC MANOR HOUSE
Built c. 1817 and reflecting the transitional period between Georgian and Federal architecture, this stone farmhouse stood vacant and vandalized for over 25 years. Salvage thieves had even stolen all the doors and hardware, as well as a magnificent fireplace surround (featured earlier in this section). Had it sat empty for not too many years more, this house would have fallen victim to irreversible deterioration and, finally, the bulldozers. "Diamonds in the rough" such as this prove that almost no old structure is beyond rehabilitation, and the finished product showcases the broad spectrum of superior restoration abilities and project management expertise that Restore 'N More provides for every client.
